Acanthus Silver

Description

A 2 handled silver loving cup made in Newcastle 1807 by Dorothy Langland.Circular form with 2 loop handles and raised on a circular foot.

Contemporary monogram on the front.

Also engraved underneath the foot with "THE UMTALI NEWSPRINT MILL, 28th APRIL 1962 OPENED BY SIR EDGAR WHITEHEAD PRIME MINISTER OF S.RHOD"

Condition is excellent.
