Super colour dark blue Wedgwood hair tidy in excellent condition. Approximately 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The very fine quality appliques are all intact. The hair tidy would originally have been part of a dressing table set and the idea was to remove the loose hair from your comb or brush and post it though the hole in the lid until later disposal. Stamped 'Wedgwood' to the base which is the correct mark for the Victorian period pre 1891.
