Rare tobacco jar in the form of a most attractive begging King Charles Spaniel. Made from painted terra cotta. In generally good condition - there are minor losses to the paint as is usual with these items and minor chipping mainly to the interior rim of the bottom section. Nothing to worry about I think.

Absolutely super face. I find myself thinking of a name for it!

Substantial object at 10 1/2 inches high (26.7 cms)

Just a lovely decorative object to have about the home or addition to a tobacco jar collection.

Makers mark HH123 impressed underneath which I have not as yet been able to identify
