This is a fabulous antique, early 19th century French multi-gem set brooch in silver.

The brooch boasts a variety of gemstones of different shapes and cuts garnets, opals, pearls, turquoises and marcasites, creating this breath-takingly beautiful and unique piece.

It has a closed back with a strong pin and ‘c’ catch stamped with the French boar’s head hallmark.

The brooch measures 3.2 x 3.1 cm and weighs 8.1 grams.

A rare and stunning piece with all the stones present (some scratches/flea bites to the garnets).
