Description

This is a sweet little Georgian 15ct gold (tested) pearl & purple enamel ring in size ‘K & ½’ – US 5 & ½.

The head of the ring is decorated with an enamelled central panel and a cluster of pearls. The shank has superb engraved details throughout.

Purple was a colour associated with royalty and nobility, so this beautifully crafted piece probably belonged to a noble lady.

Considering the age, the ring is in excellent condition. It’s been clearly cherished and well looked after for hundreds of years.
