Description

Bold and unique, this Victorian silver necklace is a beautiful example to behold.

A raised 'IEM' (possibly standing for 'In Eternal Memory') locket on a fancy collar chain, it would have been a piece with a special meaning to someone back in the 19th Century.

Both chain and locket were originally gilt, but most of the gold plate is now gone with only traces visible on the outside.
But it's still there on the inside of the locket though.

Measurements:
Locket: 2.5 x 3.2 cm
Chain: 40 cm
Combined weight: 20 grams
No marks, but It has been professionally tested at my local jeweller's.

Condition: some minor dents and some oxidation patches, but generally good for age.

The necklace looks fantastic on and would make the perfect accessory for any season.
