Description

A very fine 18th / 19th century German Porcelain Pipe, Probably by Meissen but unmarked. this has a beautiful Designed piece all hand painted and gilded of a quaint village scene, the base of the bowl has a beautiful goats head designed and painted in dark green and grey outline, it has a very grubby metal mount, which does have writing around it, but I cant make it out. A very unusual early pipe bowl. The pipe bowl does have a later (in my opinion) stem which will be included with the item.
