Very Rare 1880s Carved Meerschaum "Putti or Cherub Riding Long Haired Dog" Silver Mounted Cheroot Holder Cased

This is without doubt one of the nicest and rarest Meerschaums out there, it is modelled as a Young Putti or child riding a long haired dog, the cheroot holder bowl, looks to be the end of a bone, a wonderful shaped cheroot holder. In its original leather case. It is without doubt a museum quality piece.

No chips, no cracks to the bowl - overall great order, please see photos as these form part of the description.

I have not tried to clean, or mess with this pipe, it is exactly as I acquired it.

Please note that the pipe has been smoked and is in USED condition.
