A beautiful English/Scottish antique 19th Century Victorian Tartan ware vesta/match box and "go-to-bed", in lovely condition, and decorated in the "McBeth" pattern tartan. Excellent quality anf alovely Victorian example, with its original pull-off lid and has good strong colouring. There is a turned cow-bone match holder on the top for inserting a match and lighting your way to bed. Has the tartan pattern name stamped in gold on the top. Measures approx. 5.1cm in height and is 2.4cm in diameter.
