Trench Art WW2 Cigarette Case Trench Art
Trench art cigarette case art deco original world war 2 sweetheart designed alloy aluminium cigarette case, which is probably made from alloy retrieved from a shot down aircraft the case is hand made to a high quality and was probably brought back or sent, by a serviceman. The case has a beautifully etched/cut out large sailing/pirate ship on the front and a middle eastern building on reverse, the inside is also decorated and engraved with a large flower.

The condition is excellent for age the quality of the handmade craftmans ship is extremely good the case opens and closes with a strong snap the case is still highly usable as a cigarette case. It may possibly have been made in a German or Italian prisoner of war camp for British prisoners of war. Or possibly made in a British army or RAF workshop in the middle eastern desert or Italian campaign of World War Two.

The measurements for the case are approx 12.8cm Long & 8.2cm.
