Carel Van Laere Leiden Holland 112 "Trussed Chicken" Marzipan Mould ChocolateMarzipan/chocolate Mold of a Trussed chicken Carel van Laere Leiden, the Netherlands ca 1950 Aluminum alloy9cm high and 6.5 cm wide, marked: no112 listed as one of Carel Van Laere Leiden design number. Carel van Laere created many original molds and produced them commercially for use in bakeries and confectioners' shops. He used an aluminum alloy so the molds would not rust. some molds are made in segments so different colors could be used for parts of the figures,others are 1 piece. A beautiful piece.
