1880s Carved Meerschaum Pipe "Indian Chief Sitting Bull" in Original Case Very Rare Pipe

This is without doubt one of the nicest and rarest Meerschaums out there, it is modeled as a Indian Chief in full head dress, its believed to be the Hunkpapa Lakota Indian Chief "Sitting Bull" the quality of the carving is amazing and no photos can do him justice, a wonderful shaped pipe. In its original leather case. It is without doubt a museum quality piece. Wow this is a highly rare and sort after subject matter.

No chips, no cracks to the bowl - overall great order, please see photos as these form part of the description. But please note that the silver mount is broken, and would require replacing so the pipe could be smoked as the amber mouthpiece is loose and comes away without it.

I have not tried to clean, or mess with this pipe, it is exactly as I acquired it.

Please note that the pipe has been smoked and is in USED condition.
