This small chair has a classic oak & country look and feel.
Oak with pine panels, later ash base and seat repair indicate could have originally been commode chair.
Almost certainly Welsh, late eighteenth / early nineteenth century, this useful chair is of small proportions suggesting that it may have been made for a child.
