A very fine green veined Marble Column having a square revolving top over quality cast ormolu mount with striking well veined circular column , gilt central collar, finished with square marble plinth base and ormolu feet.French Circa 1840.
Marble type fine Antique Green Cipolin, Crystalline marble of thin layers alternating with micro-folded folded green layers(chlorites), with an amygdaloidal structure, and venules of white calcite.
115cm cam tall x 30cm cm wide across the base.
28cm wide top.
