Description
Early Sheffield plate worn through to the underlying copper, I love this effect when polished up especially on candlesticks. Otherwise very sound and with it's original mahogany bottom. Now just decorative, it's earned its retirement. Dating 1780 to 1800.Date18th Century :

Dimensions7" high and 4 3/4" maximum diameter.
ConditionCompletely sound with a large amount of copper bleeding through, really attractive.
