10 Salvaged Art Deco Mahogany Brass Swivel Chairs
A STUNNING & RARE SET OF TEN HISTORIC SWIVEL CHAIRS.
High-end decorative salvage pulled straight from the Art-Deco period and with a strong nautical / shipping theme.
These chairs are from the famous Italian Passenger Ship, The Giuseppe Verdi (active 1915 - 1928), by Transatlantica Italiana.
The construction is of solid mahogany with solid cast and turned brass fittings.
Wonderful quality and displaying great Italian styling throughout.
Truly evocative of the era, a time of decadent steamer-ship travel, these pieces are all original have travelled the seas between Europe and the USA and hold a fantastic, historic 'back-story'.
Would make a sensational and unique addition to any number of interiors:
Dining room - apartment - modern interior - traditional interior - wine bar - bistro - restaurant - club - casino - boutique - cafe - lounge etc etc
The seat height of the chairs is 45 cms.
