A Good Job Lot of Antique - Vintage Indian Folk Figurines

Circa early 20th century.

Very nicely fashioned from terracotta / red clay and painted with various polychrome pigments, these charming folk-art figures represent a number of tradesmen and women and street vendors.

All are imperfect and there are a number of condition issues including loss, repair and surface wear, however collectively they make for a very charming and decorative display.

Very much in the famous and celebrated Krishnanagar style/tradition of clay figurine modelling, I believe these examples are slightly later and are modelled as fully clothed.

A lovely set all the same and great for display.

Dimensions -

Height ranges from approx 17 - 19 cms.

Condition -

All as found. None are perfect and all have varying degrees of wear, loss and repair. Please view all photos carefully....we are more than happy to supply a close up shot of each figurine, if necessary.
