You’re bidding on a beautiful, high quality 14 Kt stiffened gold half hunter pocket watch, made by LEVER BROTHERS LIMITED in New York in 1920. To set lever, pull out by the five. Stiffened gold is another term for gold-filled.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has clear black Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, blued hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is in perfect condition and is signed: "LEVER BROTHERS LIMITED, NEW YORK" in the upper centre.

MOVEMENT: The original high quality, American movement is in great working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: Lever Brothers Limited, New York and numbered: 189458.

CASE: The 14 Kt gold stiffened case is in perfect condition. The front of the half hunter case has black Roman numerals so it's not always necessary to open the case to read the time. The inside of the front case is marked: "14 Kt gold, stiffened". The cuvette is signed: “Chester, Eisteddfod 1904, Won By J. STUBBS”. Stiffened gold is another term for gold-filled.
