15ct Gold & Diamond Stick Pin, c.1890-1910

1 of 6
Here we have an attractive late 19th / early 20th century 15ct Gold Stick Pin with a small central diamond. The stick pin is in the Art Nouveau style, with the oval head shaped as a flower. It comes supplied in a modern gift box.
15ct gold was popular in Britain in the latter part of the 19th century and into the 20th but began to lose out to the American 14ct standard and was little used after the First World War. It formally ceased to be a recognised British standard in the early 1930s.
Condition is very good with no dings, dents or damage. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
The stick pin is 4.7cm long and weighs 0.7g.
As with most stick pins of this period, the weight is below that which required it to be fully hallmarked and the back of the head of the pin is simply stamped 15CT.
Shipping in the UK is £6.50 by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Parcel Post.
Overseas customers, please ask us about shipping costs to your country before making a purchase.
