A Very Fine And Rare French Gothic Dressoir

Late 15th/Early 16th Century.

The Rectangular top above a pair of cupboard doors carved with pierced Gothic tracery incorporating the Fleur De Lis flanking a central carved panel interposed by crockets,the sides with two vertical tracery panels above a horizontal panel above two drawers,these are all backed in red velvet,the undertier with plain panelled back joined by a planked base .

Light colour with a good surface,old restoration as one would expect .

43"(109cms) wide

22"(55cms) deep

A similar example was sold by Sotheby's Haute Epoque sale London 29 October 2008 as lot number 3 (£55,000)

Wilkinsons Period oak Sale Doncaster 29 November 2015 as lot number 36 (£17,500)
