DESCRIPTION:
This is an exceptional 16-drawer haberdashery display counter, crafted by Dudley & Co Holloway London, dating from approximately 1920.
The counter features an oak frame with wooden drawer handles and stylish deco design legs. Uniquely, all four legs have the same stepped design, unlike the usual plain ones at the back.
The counter has been updated with a new laminated glass top in the workshop. In addition, it has undergone thorough cleaning and polishing, including the removal of old advertising stickers.
This counter has a distinctive colour and an even patina throughout. A new base has been installed in one of the drawers, which will not be noticeable when the drawer is in use.
This counter is ideal for both commercial and domestic settings, often serving as islands in kitchens, craft rooms, and display units in high-end boutiques.

WORKSHOP REPORT:
This counter has been cleaned, polished, and fitted with a new laminated glass top. The drawer bottom has also been replaced, but this won't be noticeable once filled.
