DESCRIPTION:
This is a great 1950s 16 Drawer oak framed haberdashery display counter. The graduating drawers have oxidised copper pull handles set off against the honey colour of the beech fronts. The counter stands on block reeded legs. The inside of the drawers are all in excellent condition with no stains quite unusual to get them all with no stains the drawers were all lined when it came into us. This counter would make a great domestic kitchen piece as they are so often chosen for now as well as in domestic craft or dressing rooms or studios or give taste and quality to high end boutiques or other commercial outlets.

WORKSHOP REPORT:
This is a very sturdy and all original haberdashery counter which does still have its original glass that we have not replaced even though it does show signs of years of use there is no fogging but obvious scratches this is to be expected and is part and parcel of the piece and as they are now so often used in kitchen and marble or wooden tops placed over the glass this is not to be considered a fault with the counter. (if however you wish to have the glass top replaced with a new laminated top please contact us for a price for this supply and fit.
There are throughout the counter signs of previous use nothing major or requiring me mentioning, there is a very old and stable split in one drawer front just looks like a slight scratch nothing significant but feel I must mention.
