This is a beautiful, large Iridiscent and Opalescent dish by Fornace Ferro Murano in the Venetian Lagoon which bears their card of authentication. Their glassworks is at Fondamenta S. Giovanni dei Battuti 4, Murano, Venezia. They produce some beautiful bowls, dishes and platters in a variety of designs, patterns, colours and shapes.

The dish has an opalescent swirl around a CLEAR bowl, with an iridescent film over the whole. We have endeavoured to point out that other than the swirl, the bowl is clear glass and we have photographed it against black, white and marble, as we do not wish to mislead the purchaser. Obviously to some extent the appearance will be governed by the colour of the surface on which it will stand.

Condition: Very good. There are no cracks, chips or nibbles of any kind and the bowl has only ever been used for display. Please note that bubbles, inclusions and ash deposits are not considered defects in hand made glass.
