'Lives Of The Admirals And Other Eminent Seamen...' by John Campbell, published in 1750, printed for T. Waller, London. Complete four volume set.

Octavo. Each volume is fully bound in tan calf leather with five raised bands, gilt stamped decoration and black leather title panes to the spines. There is some scuffing and shelf wear to all volumes but the bindings remain tight and the boards affixed.

Internally there is a bookplate for 'Sir John Hussey Delaval Bart.' to the front pastedown of each volume. Small ink inscriptions to the front flyleaves of all volumes. All pages remain clean, bright and free from damage.

A lovely set.
