1796 pattern English Cavalry sword. With a silver wire bound original horn grip. Stirrup hilt with broad, curved, single edged blade. There is no scabbard with this sword. General heavy wear overall. One guide missing. Blade is faintly etched on one side with GR, Crown, Britannia and flower work.

Approximately 92cm overall and blade 79.5cm.
