17th Century Civil War Backplate English civil war 17th century armour Charles 1st
17th century circa 1640 backplate, possibly pikemans? Retaing original brass studs, a little over cleaned but a impressive display piece.
A possible musket shot dent to the lower middle, or a test shot? Normally I have only seen these on the breast plates.
Weight just over 8.5 pounds - 45 cm in height x 34.5cm wide.
