17th Century Oak Charles II Refectory Table


A 17th-century Oak Charles II Refectory table, dating from 1660-1685, comfortably seats six people. It features turned legs with side and centre stretchers and a solid four-plank oak top. The table exhibits a wonderful deep, rich patina that has developed over many years, adding to its overall character. It also shows reassuring signs of age and use, including evidence of old repairs.
Constructed from heavy oak, this table is structurally sound and sturdy. Overall, its history and character, along with its age, unique features, and enduring quality, make it a truly special table that is ready to find its new home.
