A 17th century Spanish antique colonial leather ships trunk/chest of slight domed form having leather clad body with studded nailhead decoration depicting clubs with original large lock to front and studded scroll work. The hinged lid opening to reveal a later lined scarlet red interior with latticework. Pony skin to the underside. A good period example.


48 cm x 112 cm x 49 cm

Condition: Good order for age. Leather dry and some areas have flaked off
