1827 pattern British Naval Sword
Stunning Naval sword 1827 pattern ,with 90 per cent of gilding still intact, this one has the 1829 folding flap which dates this between 1829/1832 where the rings were then fitted to the scabbard ,
Early Naval Swords especially in this condition are scarce , the blade is engraved but very faint due to over cleaning it’s a small size sword overall measurement 33 inches the blade measures 27.5 inches, due to the size could have been owned by a mid shipman
