1840s German Porcelain Pipe Bowl Probably Meissen Pipe Bowl Porcelain %%alt5%%
A very fine 18th / 19th century German Porcelain Pipe, Probably by Meissen but unmarked. this has a beautiful Designed piece all hand painted and gilded of a quaint village scene, the base of the bowl has a beautiful goats head designed and painted in dark green and grey outline, it has a very grubby metal mount, which does have writing around it, but I cant make it out. A very unusual early pipe bowl. The pipe bowl does have a later (in my opinion) stem which will be included with the item.
Dimensions:
- Overall Length. 5.5 cm Without Stem
- Overall Height. 9.4 cm
- Diameter at top of inner/tobacco chamber. 1.8 cm
- Diameter at top of Outer/tobacco chamber. 3.1 cm
