1850 Stunning Walnut Painted Gillows of Lancashire
The underneath of the left arm has had a repair at some point in the past but doesnt usually notice see pictures.
A Rare Very nice example of a Genuine Painted GILLOWS open armchair, a rectangular back with vertical splats each with a lovely portrait on. The chair is Painted with Flowers in a particularly fine quality.
Made of wanut By Gillows of Lancaster Stamped "GILLOWS" On the underneath in circa 1850 it was painted and Signed by "Bell" and the seat was recently re-upolstered in a tradition damask Material.
The underneath of the left arm has had a repair at some point in the past but doesnt usually notice see pictures.
This Lovely chair would be the perfect finishing touch to tradition hallway or Bedroom.
