Six titles published by Bradbury, Agnew & Co, London circa 1890's with Young Tom Hall & Thoughts on Hunting published by William Blackwood, Edinburgh & London 1925 & 1926.
Eight volumes
All eight volumes bound in half leather bindings by the Bayntun Bindery of Bath. Each spine compartment is decorated with fine gilt hunting motifs, marbled, endpapers, hand coloured frontis to each book with several full page hand colour plates to all books, numerous black & white illustrations among text & full page.
Each book measures approx 9 x 6 inches.
Some very minor cover wear to books, private bookplate to all inner front boards, endpapers lightly browned to margins with some foxing to page fore-edges of thoughts on Hunting & Tom Hall (mostly to thoughts on hunting) very occasional minor mark to pages.
Overall the books are in superb condition with no cracked hinges, gilt decoration to spines very bright & majority of text pages & plates clean.
Well illustrated books by Surtees bound in high quality leather bindings.
