This is an 18ct. yellow gold stick pin set one round old cut diamond, approximately 0.35 carats, in a claw setting. The diamond and setting unscrew and fit in to a back to form a dress stud. The stud is marked 18ct. and has the makers mark for W. Batty and Sons.
The pin tests as 9ct. gold.
These come in their original fitted case.
