FINE all original Scottish oak and satin-birch cased grandfather antique clock by JAMES LOW of ARBROATH. Typical very elegant Scottish east coast case which is in totally original condition including lock and lovely tall bracket feet. Very good quality brass and silvered dial with unusual seconds engraved straight onto the brass plate rather than a more normal small additional silverd dial. Good quality movement. Original brass patera and eagle to the hood. A very nice example. You could clean off the case if you wanted as the finish is starting to decay a bit but I personally would leave it alone.
