18th Century Antique Oak Pot Board Dresser
18th Century Antique Oak Pot Board Dresser.
This is a super example of a Georgian antique oak pot board dresser from Carmarthenshire in Wales.
It dates from around 1775 and is very good, original condition, even the iron, Blacksmith made hooks are all period.
The antique oak base has a simple, open shelved 'pot board' with square legs and three, moulded fronted drawers, all of which have the correct period brass ware handles.
The rack has large toes which sit neatly on the top, the back boards have a lovely grain and are an overall, fablous colour/patina.
The cornice is original and very unusual as it is decorated with an almost, herring bone moulding.
