18th Century mahogany bureau bookcase
18th Century mahogany bureau bookcase, having a broken arch pediment with a carved and turned finial at the centre, decorated with blind fret and dentil moulding, with two fielded paneled doors below opening to reveal three adjustable shelves inside, the bureau fall opening to reveal a lovely fitted interior with various drawers, compartments and a door at the centre, with four long graduated oak lined drawers with superb original pierced brass swan neck handles and escutcheons, standing on ogee bracket feet. Circa 1780.
