Dating from circa 1740, this is a very fine oak chest with a gorgeous, rich colour. It breaks into 2 pieces. The base has 4 drawers and stands on cabriole legs with 'C' scrolls and reeding on the knee.

The top has 8 drawers with dentil style moulding to the top and with fabulously ornate brass handles which could well be original and are certainly right for the period. The measurements of this lovely chest are:
