A breakfront oak dresser of superb colour and patination, standing on bracket feet, and with quarter reeding down the sides, with chamfered shaped capitals top and bottom.

The dresser has 6 drawers in the base, with brass handles replacing what would have originally been wooden knobs. The rack, with its lovely wide boards, contains a row of 5 small drawers below 3 shelves, and, again, has reeding down the front edges. The backboards are stained pine and appear to be entirely original.

This is a beautiful dresser of very good quality from North Wales or the Lake District, and dates from circa 1780. Measurements are:
