Wonderful 18th Century monk bench/ hall seat/ settle made in solid oak in excellent original condition. The quality of the carving is excellent with the front and back rest all profusely decorated. The seat lifts to provides storage for boots, shoes, bags etc. This is a very practical useful piece of antique furniture with amazing colouring and beautiful graining.
