A late 18th century Swedish bentwood iron bound travel box, c.1800.

The box has a fantastic patina throughout with iron strapping, escutcheon and handles. The hinged lid opens to reveal an equally characterful interior.

One nail is absent from an iron strap to the base (please see photographs), otherwise the piece is in a very good condition overall.

A great looking functional storage box.
