A rare English late 18th century/early 19th century lead tobacco box. Mounted with prancing horses and coronets on each side. The lid terminating with a boys head. Still retaining its inner lid. Very heavy with a superb untouched patina to the lead. Oval in shape and measures 4 3/4" wide x 3 1/2" deep x 4 3/4" tall. Weighs approx. 1.4 kilos. Circa 1780-1820. In very useable and good condition.
