1920s Arts and Crafts Parker Knoll Armchair
We have for sale an imposing 1920s arts and crafts Parker Knoll armchair.
This wing back armchair is in oak with a curved oak back, oak paneled sides and green velvet upholstery. The chair is supported on sledge feet with a cross stretcher. The frame under the seat carries the red Parker Knoll label and has the sprung base patented in 1921. The chair dates to sometime between 1921 and 1930, when the Parker Knoll label was redesigned.
The chair is approximately 40.5 inches (103cm) high 23.6 inches (60cm wide) and 21.25 (54cm) inches deep. The chair is in a very good condition although the upholstery on the back of the chair carries some lateral scratch marks.
