Silver plated Karess Woodworth compact rouge antique compact
A wonderful addition to any compact collection. A 1920s silver plated Woodworth Karess in excellent condition. The most stylish Art Nouveau embossed design of flowers and foliage as beautiful on the lid as the base & echoed in the interior case too. Excellent workmanship & a top notch antique compact rouge. The silver plated repousse design is gorgeous! All clasps & hinges work perfectly. All these images are super close-up to show the excellent condition of this high quality antique compact rouge.There is still a full rouge with the original stencilled 'KARESS WOODWORTH' still in place. The fifth image shows the base which is just as exquisite as the lid (image one). The case is signed 'KARESS WOODWORTH NEW YORK PARIS'. A beautiful little compact rouge that would sit comfortably in any collection.
This antique Art Nouveau compact rouge measures 2 1/8" X 1 7/8" & weighs 47.9 grams.
