The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement was made by G Thommen for Limit, importers of watches into the UK, based in Oldham, Lancashire, UK. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover which has some scratching and unevenness.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Edinburgh (import mark), 1928.
The glass lens is in nice condition, just a couple of small marks but nothing too serious.
The signed dial has a short hairline between 10 and 11, and a small faint area of short hairlines by number 4 but not too obvious to the naked eye. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes with a single silver chain, 30cm including the T-bar and the clasp. Each of the links has the lion silver mark. Also included is a silver fob in the form of a bell. This is hallmarked for Birmingham 1935.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
