1920s Swiss pocket watch , J W Turner Blackburn
A 1920s Swiss pocket watch , J W Turner Blackburn.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Visible, 15 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is chrome plated and has light surface scratches to the back but overall very acceptable for a 1920s piece. the inner back has the name of a previous owner scratch on it "R Mawson, May 1942"
The watch glass is in nice condition.
The white enamel dial is signed with the original retailers name J.W.Turner Blackburn. The dial in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
