1920s Vegetable Rack

This 1920s vegetable rack is a stunning piece of antique furniture, which would originally have been used in a large pantry or kitchen in a stately home, to store potatoes and vegetables.
A lovely piece of furniture, with lots of charm, this wooden bank of drawers would add character to any utility room, pantry or kitchen.
It could also be used as a display piece in a restaurant, fruit and veg shop, cafe, or retail outlet.
This original vegetable rack features a number of shallow slatted drawers, which would have helped to keep produce cool and fresh.
The drawers could also be used as a unique filing cabinet, or magazine rack.
Although in good condition, we do believe there to be a drawer missing to the bottom – this does not detract from the appearance of this item, and we feel that it only adds to its charm.
DIMENSIONS
Height -47.25" Width -26.5" Depth -23.75"
