1930s mid-size Alpina wrist watch
1930s mid-size Alpina wrist watch.
The watch has a calibre 490 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Alpina name, and it is all protected by an inner fitted cover.
The watch measures 22mm wide excluding the winding crown and 35mm high excluding the articulated lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in lovely condition.
The lens is in good condition (some white reflection in the photos).
The signed dial is in its original finish which has darkened over the years. Replacement period hands. The subsidiary seconds dial is not working, purely decorative.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
