1930s Oak Swivel Office Chair by Simpoles
Great looking and made by Simpoles of Manchester, we sold a similar one last year.
Simpoles of Manchester was a specialist office antique furniture manufacturer and was established in the late 19th Century. They made useful pieces of antique furniture from desks to filing cupboards and were one of the leading office furniture manufacturers in the Art Deco period of the 1930s.
It cuts a dash with its deco influenced oak frame, nice straight angles to the legs, wonderful shape on the sides of the back and it goes without saying it’s a quality piece of kit. One previous owner, we would say it’s been lightly restored during its life. The oak frame is clean and glowing well and the seat and back are fresh with no holes, rips or tears to the green leather just a little scuffing to the front corner. The chair sits on 4 castors which are spinning fine as is the swivel action on the chair. It will also adjust in height if you wish. We have acceptable wear in places – that’s its history!
Ready for work after a session and check over in our Workshop.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
