1940's Cotswold School Oak Sideboard
1940's Cotswold School Oak Sideboard.
This beautifully made English oak sideboard shows true craftsmanship, it is signed by the maker/designer, Albert Gregory, The Cross, Marston Green, Warwickshire in 1943.
Albert Gregory trained as an apprentice to Arthur Romney Green, he then became a teacher, a head of antique furniture and handicraft at the Birmingham College of Arts & crafts from 1923-1953.
He is also the author of a lot of books on woodworking.
This oak sideboard is signed by him.
In very good, original and complete condition, the sideboard has three central drawers, which have amazing handles that Arthur Romney green used on his furniture too.
two cupboards flank the central flight and a lower, bottom drawer drops down.
An unusual, probably unique English oak sideboard by a real craftsman with direct links to Arthur Romney Green.

We offer a 14 day return service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return.
