With military arrow head motif, and dated 1944.
Essentially a really good knife, the spike and can opener are in excellent condition, but oh dear - the blade has been badly abused.
It has been sharpened on some form of grinder, but from the damage, I can`t tell what has been used - shallow abrasions along
one side, but deep cuts along the other. I have dome some polishing, to try to make it presentable. The blade has been ground back like it has been used every day for years, but I suspect that it was hugely over sharpened when the facial damage was done - pictures 4 & 5.
Notice, also, the forcing against the hinge pin where the blade has been used as a lever - picture 6
